This
is a genuine 12kt Gold Filled Kilklispeen Cross. It is being sold on a
24 inch Endless* gold plated stainless steel chain. It
is 1&3/4" tall by 15/16" wide. The design
is intricate, as you can see from the enlarged photo. The raised circles are
meant to symbolize head, heart, hands and feet of the crucified Christ. The
back of the cross is smooth and bears the 12kt Gold Filled Bliss mark.
The design of this cross is taken from one of the famous Standing Crosses, the Kilklispeen Cross at Southern Gate of the Kilklispeen Cemetery in Kilkenny Ireland. (an Endless chain has no clasp to mess with, it just slips right over your head)
