Sterling Silver Scriptures Cross

This is a genuine Sterling Silver Cross of the Scriptures. It is being sold on a 24 inch neverending stainless steel curb style chain. This cross is 1&3/4" tall by 13/16" wide.
The design is intricate, as you can see from the enlarged photo. The raised circles are meant to symbolize head, heart, hands and feet of the crucified Christ. The back of the cross is smooth and bears the Sterling Bliss mark. This silver cross pendant is new and ships in a gray flocked hinged Where's My Jewelry? box.

The design of this cross is taken from the famous 10 foot tall Irish Cross of the Scriptures at Clonmacnois on the River Shannon in Ireland. The eastern view of this great stone cross, also known as King Flann's Cross, is the side that is replicated here. The original Cross of the Scriptures is believed to be the site of King Flann's grave.

The scenes depicted on the face of the cross include:

	God the Father holds the cross in the Last Judgment and Michael Archangel trumpets joy.
	Evil being repelled.
	Moses Praying.
	Christ gives the keys to Peter and the book of Love to Paul.
	St. Ciaran and King Dermot are working together.
